Life is Like a Movie
Characters enter and exit, plots twist, and we keep playing our part — and maybe that's the point.
Characters enter and exit. Some become leads, shaping our story in profound ways. Others remain side characters, leaving behind small but memorable impressions. Plots twist, arcs change, unexpected turns come out of nowhere and we just keep playing our part.
Maybe that’s why we relate so much to movies. Whenever I watch one, it feels like I have already lived a piece of it. Every scene, every emotion, reminds me of a moment from my own life. A clip from the movie connects back to a clip from my journey.
Along the way, I have realized something important: no matter what others do, I have made plenty of mistakes myself. Looking back, some of my choices feel immature. Maybe if I hadn’t acted a certain way, the plot would have taken a different turn.
But here’s what I am proud of — I have always taken the responsibility. I have owned my mistakes, learned from them, and kept moving forward. I am like an RL agent, continuously improving with feedback, always trying to be a little better than yesterday.
Unlike movies, life doesn’t always tie up neatly with a “happy ending.” But maybe that’s the point. What we think is a good ending might not actually be the best outcome for us. Life has its own way of writing the plot, often giving us exactly what we need, even if it doesn’t look like what we wanted.
Every decision we make adds to our storyline. Every action shapes our arc. That’s why I believe we should live in a way that, when the credits roll, our movie would earn a 10-star rating on IMDb.
And along the way, don’t forget to find your hero or heroine :))
